We had a lovely Christmas this year. Full of things to be thankful for. Our girl enjoyed every minute of it. Here are a few photos of our holiday…
I’ve been feeling under the weather, once again. It seems that I’ve been sick all season. I’m a little behind on photo taking and blog posting. Things have been short and sweet lately. I'm looking forward to a healthier new year.
Hope you have a Happy and Safe New Year!

Holiday Fun
We visited the Kentucky Horse Park for our annual Southern Lights holiday experience. It’s a wintertime family tradition for a lot of people in the bluegrass. We enjoyed an array of Christmas lights, petting zoo, toy train display, as well as toy dollhouses, and yummy treats. Emilia enjoyed the petting zoo last year. This year was even better. She fed the animals carrots, and loved every minute of it. The “baby goats” as we called them, were our favorite.
(Cutest little penguin ever!)
Hope your holiday season has been merry and bright. Happy Christmas!

O Christmas Tree!
We are finally getting into the Christmas spirit around here. The past few weeks have been crazy for us. With moving, sickness, holidays, and travel it seems like our lives have been turned upside down.
We usually put up our very large artificial tree every year. This year we got a fresh cut tree. I love the whole experience. Picking out the perfect tree, the smell of Christmas in the air…it all gives me the warm and fuzzies. This could be a new family tradition for us.
Emilia enjoyed chasing daddy around each tree. They played a little hide a seek, and of course bunny joined too.
The tree we chose is perfect in our new home. I foresee a Happy Holiday and very Merry Christmas in our near future!

Moving
I can't tell you how much I love this photo. While everyone was busy moving boxes and cleaning inside our new home this weekend, Emilia and Papaw Doug were sweeping outside. Nana Paula snapped this photo for us to see. How sweet!
We are almost completely moved in. I'm sending the most heartfelt THANK YOU to our families for all their hard work. We are truly grateful and feel so blessed to have them in our lives.
A Happy Thanksgiving to all!
