Time marches on. Quickly at that. Children grow. A few recent photos…
It’s officially Spring now! So hopefully we will be spending more time outdoors. Fresh air and sun does a lot for my mind and spirit. Also, I like outdoor photos. We need more of those. :)
I wanted to share these sweet photos from earlier this month. This was on my birthday. It was a snow day and we spent some time in the afternoon having a tea party. I found this adorable tea set in my closet. I can’t really remember where I got it. I think maybe I bought it at an antique store several years ago. I suppose I knew that one day little hands would hold the cups and pretend to sip tea. What a wonderful tea it was.
My heart wants to explode sometimes when I think about how much these two already love each other. The way they look at each other and play is exactly what I had hoped for. Truly a dream come true. They really make birthdays feel special. Another year to be thankful for. Thirty three, mother of two…happy woman.
The beginning of a new year and it’s already flying by. I blinked and the month is gone. It has been frigid. We have been staying in and trying to keep as warm as possible. Both the kids had a terrible cold, but are feeling better now. We enjoyed a few snowy days but hopefully they are behind us. I'd like this year to hurry up and warm up already!
A few recent pics of my sweet babes. I love them so.
The kids are getting so big. Jude got his first two teeth last month and began sitting up. He likes eating solid foods and still loves watching his sister’s every move. Emilia amazes me every day. Most days she seems more like a six year old, rather than a three year old. They keep me very busy.
We are enjoying our New Year, but these record low temperatures are keeping us in. Thank goodness for our fireplace and lots of coffee. Happy New Year!
Oh my, I am a little behind. I haven’t been visiting this space as much as I would like lately. Life with two little ones is quite busy these days. It seems as if they consume every moment of my time.
We have had a fun Fall (my favorite time of the year). We visited the orchard a couple of times, have eaten all things apple and pumpkin, and taken several lovely neighborhood walks. We enjoyed Halloween parties and time with friends. Emilia wore her costume to our neighborhood party, school party, dance class, and trick or treating. She loved dressing as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz because she LOVES the movie. We put a hat on Jude and called him the lion from The Wizard of Oz. I think they were both pretty adorable.
Now the winter holidays are just around the corner and that makes us smile around here. We’re already singing Jingle Bells!
