Fun Around Town

Earlier this week we visited the Central Library, downtown. A clown from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus was there to read a story and show us a few tricks. Emilia thought he was pretty cool, until we got up close to talk to him. His name was Kelly but we called him Gymbo, since that is the only clown she knows. It was fun to see a real clown!



We also visited the Explorium, downtown. It was formerly known as the Lexington Children’s Museum. It’s a great hands-on learning environment for kids of all ages. There are several interactive exhibits and discovery zones. Emilia has been a couple of times and really seems to enjoy it. I remember visiting when I was a kid, too!
